Thanks Helm, I appreciate your comment.(y). Hopefully, Ron will still be with us, by the time it's corrected... I like most mediums, but the Paranormal'. is a medium, beyond my scope!

Damn. Guess it's back to work tomorrow then. Oh, and I agree with Steve. Then again I think I said that. Hopefully! Whats that supposed to mean.

Ron

Ron,... Dicky-Ticker!... Gout!.. Tripping over an 'Arthritic-Mouse thats laden with heavy shopping!... All this stuff happens once one gets beyond sixty.... Apparently!;)

Mark

Ooiiiiiiiiii. None of the above. Well, maybe the age. But only just mind you. Like I always say to the 'young uns' I made it here tho.

Ron

Hi Ron,
Great work and SBS, very interesting. I love the tip about the soft blusher brushes. Believe me lads go out and buy your own, I've just taken one for the team. She nabbed me pinching her blusher brush! :blackeye::dead::arghh::blackeye::blackeye::hungover:
cheers

Ouch! Trust me mate always ask before you steal. Less painful. Seriously, if you have any kind of markets or pound shops, that's the place to go for them, and the sponges. Glad your finding it interesting, makes it worthwhile and a lot of fun.

Cheers

Ron

Hi Ron,
The pound shop will be getting another visit, don't know what sort of look I will get walking out with a couple of mit loads of blusher brushes. But as Larry Grayson used to say "Hey Ho". Look forward to the next installments.(y)
cheers
Richie

Go for it. May I suggest a ski mask. Look for a range of sizes to suit all types of figures. Oh, and always walk out of the shop, don't run it attracts attention.

Cheers

Ron

A chimp walking out of a shop with an armful of blusher brushes would blend in pretty well around here judging by our pound shops usual clientele :sneaky:

Sorry if I sound a bit like a party pooper here, but I'm very interested in following Ron's SBS which he has generously provided for us here, but it's been somewhat hijacked it seems.
Can't we just allow Ron to add further updates to his SBS without all the noise and disjointed comment. I don't recall the many previous SBS threads on pf involving everyone else's opinion or their latest works or anecdotes.
I'd like to save Ron's information but it's a bit hard to follow with everyone shouting at the same time. Relevant questions about the technique as we go along are expected of course but I think we should respect the fact that Ron's going to the trouble of posting this...........now sit down and pull your heads in......and get that hair cut.

Awesome work so far Ron! Can't wait until the next pics arrive. I now know how to properly paint a wooden shield!! :D
Thanks,(y)

Gary

Hey Steve, at least now when you buy the blusher brushes you have a bona fide excuse and say they're for oil painting...

Just done some experimenting With Ron Clarks method and got to say the first results are more than encouraging ,the use of the makeup brushes to lift the paint off works a treat! why this should be better than
sables I have no idea, but will have to send the wife out for a full set as I am rather shy when it comes to buying
things that the beautiful laydee's require.:)

Hi Mark(S), honestly mate I don't mind the banter from the kids. They need to let off steam some times. Seriously tho, if it would help you to retain the info for future use/reference I would be more than happy to knock up a written SBS (with the pics I have/will post) at the end and e-mail it to you if it would help. I am very pleased you are enjoying this thread and great to have you following. Any questions just ask.

Regards

Ron

Hi Gary, great to have you on board mate and glad you like the woodwork on the shield. There is more to be done with it to really age it. Then the design for the front is finalised and, I think you will like it.

Cheers,

Ron

Ronnie T, bit formal mate. Sables are natural. Make-up brushes are synthetic. That is the simple answer. Oh, and a lot bloody cheaper which, with your heritage, you should appreciate more than most. By the way, love the new bases.

Cheers

Ron
