Hi peeps,
got given this at a Model show in Gravesend, I'm pretty sure he's French but that's about it
I think he's meant to be a particular person, but I could be wrong

ooh, nearly forgot, would someone be so kind and point me in the right direction as to the correct colors to paint the uniform, or recommend a book, that sort of thing

Hi guys
This certainly looks like a Verlinden bust looking at the base , but the one I have has no hat on and has additional "flounders" with his rank stars on .
This is a nice bust as well so if you want to point whoever gave you this in my direction I would be grateful !!!!
Have a look at the Osprey books on Napoleon's commanders (1) 1792-1809 , Elite 72 plate G2

Look forward to seeing this painted

Bust

Hi guys ,
I have been thinking and if I remember correctly Verlinden did a range of 4 busts about 2 years or so ago , all napoleonic in about 120mm , definately not very big , they were freebies when you purchased a certain amount from Historex so that would account for the base style , one was definately a Lasalle .

RFL , Yes thats the one I have done ..some nice painting there on yours .
