good friends then now I am painting this wonderful figure, not veais curro of the embroiderings and it even has left........

the red one is a very simple mixture, starting off of base of red toasted cadmium, the lights with scarlet and a little brown golden in the end, the shades the base to which it adds/sinks a little blue prusia and black to him, in the lights I have meant that they are very exaggerated and I have tried to maintain red a color garnet, as far as the embroiderings (a very serious work) that it even has left to some adjustments and shades............

Great work there Roman. I really like the painting you did on him. Your flesh tones are also a beauty. I can't wait to see him finished. Keep up the good work.

Very nice job on a very hard figure to paint. I love this figure but until I can cure my white problems........I'll stay away from it. Terrific job on the whites by the way (y) .

Nice work! You're doing a magnificent job and frankly the reds are extremely well done.

Those bees get a bit irritating after a while don't they? I spent more time on them than I did the face when I did this piece. It is however, in my opinion, the best likeness of Napoleon in the market today. The face IS Napoleon.

One of the best sculpted, posed and cast figures I have ever laid my grubby little paws on.

Thank you. It's painted in oils (Flesh, Robes and Fur), acrylics(Lace, fur highlights and hair) and in iridecent oils - tunic. Although all of the lace is done in yellows, the very highest highlights are "tapped" with gold ink.

in this photo it is possible already to be seen almost finished to the embroiderings, for want of algun light touch, also are possible to be seen the shades, I have given brightness him with gold of form very diluted, but always being very smooth these I touch that as soon as emphasizes single in certain sites..........

He's coming along really well. What colors did you use on the crown? Looks like greens and yellows. I can't tell from the photos if the lace is yellow or metallic (which is good).
