There once was a sculptor from Michigan(I think) who produced 4 or 5 resin 54mm Napoleonic miniatures that were based on the satirical cartoons of a 19th century artist. Digging through my gray army, I ran across his Napoleon on horseback that I received as a Christmas gift 2 or 3 years ago.

I visited his website about a year ago but it ran so slowly that I got the impression he didn't spend much time tending to it so I deleted it from my favorites. He was an outstanding sculptor who also produced some incredibly detailed 28mm French & Indian war figures & Lord of the Rings type orcs & fairies among his other work.

Does anyone know if he's still in business, maybe a new website? I knew I should've bought those other Napoleonics when I had the chance.

He's still in business, but doesn't release much new stuff because he's busy sculpting toys to pay the bills. He did update his site around last December, but I don't think the url changed and it worked fine when I visited it today.

Actually, Tom Meier lives in Ohio. :) And the FIW stuff are exquisite. Well, everything is, really. :D

Hello Mike
In issue 171 of Toy Soldier & Model Figure magazine thier is an article by Bill Ebensperger which features some Napoleonic caricature figures in 75mm resin from Mil-Mart Miniatures called mini-men.Sculpted by a UK based sculptor Ken Farrar ,there was no web address ,but it did say they were due for release this month.
If I recall one of the figure sets was of a Imperial Guard holding up The Emperor himself.
Sorry i could be more helpful as I left my copy at work.

Jackpot!
The Tom Meier figures were the ones I was looking for & he has updated the website since my last visit.
I also like Ken Farrar's little ACW guys now that I've seen them. I guess my paypal account is about to take a beating.

Thanks to all for your quick responses.

I have the FIW figures. They are 1/48 (32mm) and are fantastic.I just had mine painted. He says in his blog that he is sculpting more but it will be quite a while before they are in production.
