Hello Guys,

I'm figuring out the final pose:)
Trumpet is just a rough mock up and was just fixed with a bit of blue tac.
His thumb is also missing right now;)

Andreas

Andreas , very nice work, the folds and creases to the small of his back look great and look forward to following progress. (y)

Cheers Ken

no,no typo:D

I got something like a small sbs for you today:) Last steps will follow.
( in advance, sorry for the bad pics...)

Making the trumpet:

some remaining puttywork and I have to correct the general shape:)

more SBS pics will follow:)

Hope you like it:)

Hello,

Ive got a question, can I sculpt him a knapsack, made from skin? or is this not typical for trumpeters?

btw.

sculpted the arm holding the trumpet and redid the trumpet with thicker wire.

pics hopefully this eve..

Best Regards,

Andreas

argh,

Ok no problem. would have been a nice feature though.

thank you very much luis!

so no pics today. We'll see when I get to take some

Andreas.

hey guys,

got an update today.

biggest changes are the now finished arm,and the complete rebuild trumpet. The thicker wire suits better in my opinion.Arm is removable for further sculpting and painting later on:p

BTW here is my attempt on the plume. If I would rebuild this thing in a more neat way,do you think I can use it?

cheers.

not that you think I would be lazy;)

played mike good with the reddish primer:D as I resculpted the eyes and added a bandage.
Most napoleonic figures look to new I think:D

Andreas

Very well done. I like this a lot. Keep up the good work... at this rate I think I've seen the future of figure sculpting.

It's name is Andrea Wintraken.

nono:D Andreas is right;)

thank you both!
It will go to Danilo Cartaccis personal collection,so some time he will paint it too. It's the greatest honor for me.

Andreas:)

OK guys,

now I hate hungarian knots;)(well, who does not?)

with the plume,I think I will go with gordys idea..

thanks,

Andreas
