For this one I want really soft female face, so I picked a photo of the actress from my favorite movie, and started to push volumes around to match the reference face:

Here I am at the moment, nose and lips are still low detail...

That is a clever way to establish the geography of the face. Are you looking at the white uniform with the soft brim peaked cap?

Lovely.
I think USN dress whites is probably the smartest looking uniform in recent military history. Will be a proper test for the painters!

Interesting that female US Navy officers wear single breasted blue tunics whereas female Royal Navy officers wear double breasted ones, as do male RN and USN officers..

This has started off well to match her likeness. Will Ana de Armas just be inspiration for this one or this time total effort to capture her?

Be careful with the iris size. I noticed the same with the ATA girl, maybe it is a subconscious decision that a female has larger eyes? This could be true about the orbital and maybe the pupils themselves. Also with pupils, pay attention to position relative to the upper eyelid. Generally there should be a little space between the two. Though only important from presentation point of view, and am guessing that detail will not be included in the 3D print.

Some interesting and unusual things I noticed about this uniform:

First front button is low, so collar gives more sharp "V" shape
Front buttons are not evenly spaced
There are only 3 front buttons
Pockets start high on the chest and they are not so big vertically
Collar covers the corners of the pockets

So I slapped up the volumes, now I have to refine:

Looking good so far ...still amazed at how 3D sculptors work

Not sure they all work this way, but this is the workflow that works for me :)

Btw there is one more trick I use, that is not visible on renders:

1. On the real sculpt there is always a bit more volume sculpted then visible on final render
2. I use the "U" shaped volume to "cut" the sculpt. It can be other type of volume for cutting, but for females I like round shape
3. Final sculpt is nicely and "sharp" cut and I do not have problems with the edges... Also I can decide to cut the bust upper or higher any time in the process

I don't think the location of the top button and/or the cut and angle of the bottom point of the lapel is quite right. In the source pictures there is a clear gap between them and the lapel end is much more abrupt.

Prettiest nurse ever.
