Guys,
I am really trying to get this set up to go to this show. Could I get some ideas and names and phone numbers of good places to stay for the show. I want to make my reservations. Any help would be great. Hope to see you there. Brock

Hi brock,
We're staying at the MacIntosh Inn nearby the show. I can't seem to find them on line though. I'll see what I can find tonight for you.
Here's the phone number from the brochure for the convention center hotel:
610-337-2000
And here's a link to the convention center too:
VF Convention Center
Just a warning though...rooms can be hard to get at the last minute. Seems that college events at the same time take up a lot of rooms in the area. You might want to look a little farther out too.

Brock and Craig, I think it's called the Sleep Inn now. My wife and I tried to find it on-line last night and came up w/ nothing too.

We'll be making reservations on-line at the Sleep Inn since it has the cheapest rates anywhere around the show venue.

Brock, if you should need another option, try the Fairfield Valley Forge. It's at 258 Mall Blvd. (610) 337-0700. I think I've paid under $80/night there the last few years. If your wife comes (are you married?), it's right across from the King of Prussia Mall (as the address implies).

Jason and Steve,
Thanks for the added info. We stopped staying at the Convention Center because it was too much money but the MacIntosh isn't too cheap either. My buddy made the reservations so he must have found out about the name change. We'll have to look into the Sleep Inn too. That's cheaper than the $100 plus we're paying.
Thanks again guys and I'll see you there.
Craig

Craig, Jason and Steven, thanks for all the help. My wife and i will be staying at the King Of Prussia Best Western right across from the Mall that makes her happy and a 1/2 mile from the convention Center. So I hope to see you all at the show. I am really nervous as I have never entered a figure show like this and don't feel my work is anywhere near good enough but what the heck. Thanks again guys and see you at the show. Regards Brock

The MacIntosh is now the Holiday Inn Express of King of Prussia. Sorry I lost the phone number but you can call Holiday Inn national reservation and reserve a room.

Well, if you're a real tough guy, you could camp out at Valley Forge. Just have to hope the weather is nice and dodge the park rangers!

Actually, one of our modelling bretheran who was also involved in the RV business told me that atleast at one time Valley Forge would allow you to camp in the parking lot if your RV was self-contained.
