Figure & Bust painting is a skill that I have ignored, until now. I've had a go at most other modelling genres. Earlier this year I was asked to build a Sci-Fi model for a friend's son, that being one of the genres I'd never been interested in. That got me thinking about things I'd never tried before. I'd done 54mm ( Historex ) figures before, but nothing larger scale. There's a fair amount of crossover, but each has it's own particular skills. I've got a couple of figures in the stash that I'm not going to attempt, until I'm happy I can do them justice

Hi Dave, good paint work up to now. I think should be useful to you a picture of how the back side of a medieval shield is. Sorry if you already have this information.

thanks for that - I think that most of the shield back will be hidden, with just perhaps the corners showing, and I will use painting to try & represent the borders

I realised that I had missed the little yellow triangle below the chevron on his chest. A little work on the face................

I'm not going to attempt to fit the visor, until last, it's a one time addition, and it'll get in the way of work on the face.
