I'm pleased to announce the release of a new 250mm bust available exclusively through The Artist Preservation Group. The bust depicts future first US President and General George Washington as he likely appeared at the crossing of the Delaware River in 1776. All proceeds from this bust will be donated by the APG to the current APG restoration project. Special thanks to pF's own Gary Dombrowski for his tireless help in historical research and other areas of this project as well!

I understand that there will be a very small and limited number of castings available at this weekend's 31st Atlanta Show before it's full release. I hope to see everyone there!

Wow... this is an amazing bust. I hope I am the first in line.

Chris... the bust is done for the Artist Preservation Group.. look at their web site

You should be able to order from there. They are usually limited production so check
out the site when they post the sale. It will be introduced at the Atlanta show this weekend.
Let me know if you have any problems. I may pick up a couple extra, it goes to a good cause.

Thanks, Dee and everyone else.

I hope it will do well for the APG. There won't be but a couple of these available at the Atlanta Show. If you don't get one there, check out the APG's homepage for availability or see me at the show and I'll be glad to email you later with purchasing instructions once things are formally set up and it goes into full production. Remember that this kit is still "pre-release". Not sure on the retail price yet.

Thanks again

That is a nice bust..

One of the best in that historical era i have seen what is the price going to be ?

Thanks guys. Here is some more info from Mike Stelzel:

Unfortunately I won't be at the show this weekend so John Lea at United Empire has agreed to help with the APG stuff. I am sending a box down to John with a few of the busts. Please see him. The price of the bust is $45. If you are a member of the APG you'll receive a 10% discount.

We will also be selling some donated painted pieces. I don't have a list as yet of what will be available but check out the display when you get there.

Any questions call or write [email protected] 540-343-2241 or see Patrick Kirk, Kreston Peckham, Pete Culos, or John Lea.

Matt,

Excellent work. A really great piece, you must be very proud of this one. Too bad you won't be at the show. I was looking forward to talking to you.

Shane

Shane, I could be mistaken but it looks as if it's Mike and not Matt that won't be able to make it. I have to admit I had to read Matt's post twice before coming to that conclusion. Look forward to seeing you in acouple days!
