It's a figure from Reedees Miniatures 1/16

British 6th Airborne Divisions contribution to D-Day

an early 1/9th MMM figure from me about 6 years ago, with some conversion to sten gun, added sling, 30 ft rope for the leg drop bag and a scratch built 'quick release catch' for the rope

I have had this figure for over 24 years and have had to do some residual repair and touch up so I have had a hand in it however it was before I got back to modelling and in that figure painting and was assembled and painted via a militaria collector in Belgium. As much that I can remember it was a kind of 'Garage kit' sculpted by someone (famous ? so I was told) at Disney and only 50 kits were produced. My part in the HBO TV show 'Band of Brothers' was Webbing Master (hence my addy here) and I spoke with many veterans and military collectors which one of the last I purchased the kit from.
Stands 11" tall made of resin and apart from a few friends has never been seen by anyone
