Looking at the bestsoldiers page, I found this. Dont know about historicy exactness, but in my opinion is a little gem.
It seems that one can hear what this guy is thinking. The upper one does not seem a miniature, but a real one, while the other on the bottom, with that bandage, seems to bear on his shoulders all the tiredness of the entire Roman army. Just my thought, but it's not common to see something like that.
