All the figures are 1/32 scale. We chose to do them in a scale rather then mm just because we wanted to keep them consistent . The figures are of three early aviators.

Cal Rogers (The one with the cigar) was the first man to fly from coast to coast in the US. He did it in in the Vin Fiz a Wright EX biplane which is now in the National Air and Space Museum.

Kathrine Stinson was the fourth woman in the US to get her license and was one of the best flyer's around before the First World War. She was one of the first women to fly the mail.

Jimmy Doolittle needs little introduction but we have chosen to portray him in his air racing days.

The nice thing about Doolittle is that there are at least two of his air racing planes in scale with him. The Gee Bee and The Laird Super Solution. Mike Good sculpted Rogers and the Doolittle figures and Rémy Tremblay sculpted the Stinson figure. All our figures will be cast in white metal.

Here are some shots of the castings. It is really hard to get good shots of the raw metal castings. The Rogers head can be a bear to cast his cigar and hat brim really make him a challenge.

I did a figure of Hopson a few years ago. I think he needs a better face but I am thinking about making him part of the line. Here is a photo of the one I did.
I have been thinking about revisiting this figure for some time now. There are a few other airmail pilots that would make great figures as well.

I also thought I would post a photo of a primed metal casting next to a primed resin casting to show that the quality is good for both. You tell me which is which?
