I'm pleased to share images of the latest releases from Tommy's War in our 1/32 model kit range. The figures represent a late-war scene, set at one of the last major battles on the Western Front in World War One.

The battle of the Sambre-Osie canal took part on 4th November 1918 when British forces including the 2nd Manchesters and 2nd Royal Sussex crossed and took the German positions. The battle is noted for the death of the poet Wilfred Owen who was an officer in the Manchesters.

This release comprises four figures; 2 x British, 2 x Germans plus an MG08 machine gun.

These figures signify the end of the chronological pattern of releases that I've followed in the eleven years that Tommy's War has been running. In that time I've released figures starting at the very outbreak of the war for the British forces to the end of the war on the Western Front.

I'll now be going back and focussing on areas of interest through the period, beginning with the next releases which will be the French army of 1914.

Tommy's War marches on!

Hi Darren,
Firstly massive thumbs to you a.k.a. Tommy's War for keeping your vision on track and producing one of the best period range of figures on the market. Far from easy over such a long period of time to keep focused and enthused.
A period once largely over looked except for old school un-interesting clunky lead figures, yours have character, personality and style and long may it continue.

Another superb set for the market. Bravo(y)
cheers
Richie

Another well-imagined instant vignette, Darren. Just ordered the Manchester at ease figure & the MG08, thought that might make a nice standalone figure with a prop.

Hi Darren

Great to see the releases , all welcome additions to the TW ranges ....the MG in particular

The forthcoming areas sound interesting
