I notice they have went digital instead of traditional sculpt, didn't notice when that happened. Well, at least its not another "edge of the universe", zombie killer sci- fi robot-cyborg thing that they have been focusing on lately.

It would be interesting to know Sang Eon's rationale for going digital, I can see in one way it's very much pushing round 'digital clay' but I can't understand why a master sculptor would do this, I mean it's very nice but I think when the craft goes down this route some of the soul is take out of it.

Hey, at least it's not an LED or Mercury light bulb, right?

Bust looks great, but I prefer the human touch, hand on approach, in most cases.

All I can say is they must sell.

That comment, in no way detracts from the fact that it's a superb sculpt.(y)

I can't even call that a sculpt.....I've been saying this for years. Why waste your talent on something produced by a machine. F...k it., …...Stick my ass in a nursing home with a coloring book and a box of coloring pencils. But let me add;... the coloring book must be highly detailed and historicaly accurate and the pencils must be blendable to enable me to achieve the desired effect to impress my friends.......:ROFLMAO:

I don't mind either way and I like the look of it. I just wish he was a full figure but might pick him up due to the MG42, grenades and binoculars as I am a sucker for that combo.
To me its more important how the cast that hits your doorstep turns out. I have picked up a couple of the Andrea miniatures new sculpts and have been disappointed in the cast of final product, all well and good to use real people and computers to do the sculpt but if the casting or final quality/product that the customer gets isn't up to scratch then its all wasted.
So far for me the Life Miniatures products that I have bought have all been of a high quality :)

It's not a sculpt... it's a copy. Just like a recaster uses a copy and silicone as a tool ; The digital sculptor uses images from a computer. Both use tools to make a product. As for me I'll take a good sculpture made with human hands any day, warts and all. Granted you can't stop progress but I'm old school and I'm definitely not getting younger, so as for me there's nothing digital that impresses me more then a great hand sculpted original.

What pisses me off these days is the limited copy trend , designed to get you to part with your cash quickly and force an impulse buy .
