New Member help wanted

Hi all,

I'm a new member to this site and still finding my way about, have got really into painting figures in the last year.
Have just finished Michael Roberts 100mm "Private 20th Massachusetts 1863",

I need a bit of help on a figure I picked up at a show, it was packed in a clear bag as "Flad the Impaler", but not sure if that is correct, also there are no painting instructions, all I know is that it is made by "Poste Militaire" and sculpted by "Mike Goode" and has MG/3 on base
I would like to get it made and painted and would be glad of some information

Mike Good is also a member of the community (bonehead) and i hope he is dropping in.
I'm sure he is gonna tell you much more about this figure.

Hi Stuart, and welcome to the planet..

I'm sure Mike will give you the correct info...but from the pictures it looks like you have MG-3 (8691/01) Officer of Hussars (Von Rattsky) - 1708

That is the one (MG-3) he has. I looked for a color picture in my Poste Militaire catalog but didn't have one of Von Rattsky.

Perhaps it is a little bit helpful. I have found it in an old Poste Militaire catalogue.

thanks for the color picture,

can anybody tell me who Von Rattsky was?, and is he Prussian?
I've tried seaching Von Rattsky on the internet but got no leads to who he was
