Welcome aboard Hades Nice to meet you and glad you're "on board" with us here at pF
Hong Kong huh? How's the figure modeling over there? I know there are a lot of hobby shops mostly dealing with small RC cars (VERY popular in Asia guys) and the rest being plastic models. But how is the figure side of the hobby over there?
Glad you're here! A number of years ago I lived in Hong Kong and I remember spending a lot of money at Universal Models in Mong Kok. I loved that shop but I haven't been back since 2003 or so, are they still there?
Be honest, a lot of plastic models shop were closed due to economics downturn, including figures shop. This is harsh for us to find figures anymore. So sad abt that!
Hi Redhorse, nice to meet you!
Great! What do you think of HK? They are still alive, I can told you “Universal Models” is most expensive shop in Hong Kong.
Hi Hades,
Welcome aboard.
I lived in Hong Kong for a number of years. I saw this figure in jackone's website Dr. Lee's gallery. Just wondering if this is a conversion or a stock figure that you can purchase. I would like to get one. http://www.jackone.com.hk/gallery lee p10.htm
OH! Mr Jackone & Dr. Lee are very famous modellers in Hong Kong.
But sorry to tell you that the key keeper (Mr Chan) in Jackone's shop was gone last year. So Jackone's shop already closed, sorry can't help...
