I spotted this on Facebook.
Quang wrote as follow:

Prodigal son returns!

This is my first sculpt for many, many moons. It's a Mandan Buffalo Dancer based on the descriptions and drawings of Catlin and Bodmer. Scale is 120mm.

Hope you like it.

Quang

And here are the pictures:

Lee, i hope you don't mind.....but i find it a stunning figure, and would tell that the whole world.

Not usually something I would consider nor is it a favourite scale for me but this is a strong contender for next purchase.
Minor grump is I would like to see more definition around the left hand and shield grip. I'm assuming that the fore/arm shield are a single unit, might have been better to cast separately and create a bit of space between hand / grip / shield. Might just be photos....either way this is uber cool with great attitude.
Cheers

At first I thought WOW gotta have this , but on closer inspection no I don't think so . There's no muscle deffinition on the legs or arms and the thing hanging out of his rear end looks like a lions tail , where in the USA would I find a Lion ?
So sorry not for me .
chippy

Och, Chippy . . . realize that he is dancing, and that involves a lot of up and down movement in a relatively short space of forward progress . . . so you would naturally see a lot of bits that fly upward inexplicably. It looks quite right to me.

I can't argue Derek's comments on the left hand/shield, but as for the rest of the muscle definition, isn't that what painting skill is all about?
