Under development from Reedees Miniatures Ltd is a new product ARMATURE ARMY.
The concept is to supply scale armatures including equipment/weapon to create your own bespoke figure in a variety of themes and scales. The idea is to take the difficult elements out like head sculpting, weapons etc and allow the beginner to concentrate on anatomy and proportions.
Each kit will contain a Scale armature and a comprehensive instruction sheet explaining its assembly produced by Mike Good along with a anatomy chart to scale.
All you need to do is supply your choice of putty.

A big thank you to Mike Good for supplying the Armatures.

Included in the armature are:

Head with relevant headgear/helmet
Torso
PelvisHand palms
Shoes/boots
Copper/brass wire for assembly.

We will be releasing Armature Army kits in the following scales over time:

1/32 (54mm)
1/24 (75mm)
1/20 (90mm)
1/16 (110mm)
1/9 (200mm)

The first release for the series is a 1/24(75mm) Zulu war/ 1st Boer war figure with 1870 Valise equipment and Martini-Henry rifle.

Available at Telford Show or Reedees Miniatures website Reedees Miniatures

That is something very interesting. I will definitely give it a try, once you cover the subject I am interested the most.

Good luck!

Wow Mr. Readdie, just like all the others have said, what
a super idea. Also in regarding to the graphics, where I
spent my career before retirement, and the packaging, I
am very impressed. I like your choice of typefaces, the little
maniquin icon is eye catching, and the colour choices
for everything, all work quite well. Having the acetate cover
allows the purchaser to see exactly what they are getting
before putting out their money. An excellent approach.
Definitely a concept that shows intelligence and good
planning. Congratulations. I wish you great success with
this new enterprise, mate! Love the name as well, very
catchy. Easy to remember.
