This is the first step into my next self made figure . As usual I used a commercial head . This time one of the Andrea range . The set contains several heads starring Ch Heston , S. Connery, M Gobson , etc 6 in total .
I use the head , modify it and reconstruct a scene from another movie the actor did.
So far the rough completion and position of the figure . Ready to sand down, and ading details , clothing , etc .Using only milliput and some spare hands plus the head.
The head has to be modified by ading hear, a longer beard and a lager forehead .
My example is the scene from the mega C.B. Demil production " the 10 commands".
As research I used a promotional picture taken from the actor in a tipical studio pose from those days . I first had some doubts about the pose and wanted to use the more aggresive scene where Heston destroys the 2 stone tablets ( this scene is also used to design the movie poster )
Finally I'm gone use the first pose and ad the 2 stone tablets by placing them in the actors hand .
