There's always Scale 75 , I have both the White and Blue sets and can recommend them, but as Nap says, AK will surely add to the range.

There are also Andrea and Vallejo....

and certainly others who forget

I am sure blue will come along!

There is a white set

thanks Kev, everytime i see a manufacturer getting new sets of colors i am tempted to try them out.
i have the Andrea white set and was a bit disapointed since i end up adding some other colors to make a little bit of contrast between lights and shadows.

Hi Guys

Has anyone used these from AK really would appreciate your thoughts on them

I never liked the AK Interactive paints. They are far too thin out of the bottle for my taste. Coverage is poor and the paint is glossy if not sufficiently stirred. I noticed that some of the names on the bottle don't match the names on the box. AK makes many mistakes like that. It tells me something about them.

The three primaries (Cadmium Red, Cadmium Yellow, Cobalt Blue) + two absolutely 'can't do withouts' (Raw Sienna, Burnt Umber)
+ The two Neutrals (Titanium White, Paynes Grey) will get you anywhere you need to go - but never mind me ... I'm just a living fossil.

Each to there own, what works for you, may not work for others.
I'm a firm believer in, its it works for you stick with it.
Personally I work in oils, and always mix my colours, and use acrylic for a base coat, and mix those too.
But I would never knock those that don't.

....merely thinking of the cost, old chap. What poor penniless figure painters save on unnecessary paint they can spend on more figures

... Spend on other figures that will never be painted, and after a few years will be offered for sale.

color sets have a function that goes well beyond the colors of having ready. color sets can I use them to children who follow and learn to make the mess more easily, if they want to continue to learn not to use them more
