Very nice, and a favourite subject of mine - Riflemen!

The only thing I'd add would be a cloth wrapped around the lock to keep the flint/priming pan/breech free of moisture........

Hi Steve, it's about time mate. Excellent sculpting and painting and I'm sure this figure will prove to be very popular indeed. (y)
Cheers Ken

Bravo Mr. Readdie . . .

Hey Steve:

Capital. . . First rate. Just a lovely offering filled with tension and frigid
atmosphere. I wish you well with this new offering. Very nice painting work
by the "Good Doctor" Steven Pepper as well.

Congrats,

The Miami Jayhawk

I agree with the rest of the guys, it's one of your best works. Great animation of the wind effect. I'm a big fan of the 95th rifles (guess it's from the Sharp series).

Rick.. Thanks for the support mate and the comments on the figure.

Marc.. Many thanks

Tom.. hope you warm up soon

Tony.. Real good to hear from you mate, hope you and family are well.

All the best

Steve

Congratulations Steve, this is a fantastic figure, you have captured the sense of cold, vunerability, cold and movement superbly well.

You are obviously very talented and look forward to seeing more in the near future.

Well done mate!

Steve I think you have captured just how much these poor soldiers suffered from lack off proper winter clothing . Anyone who has read the true account of the Rifles by Mark Urban will know how much this regiment suffered in the Spanish campaine in winter , I'm off to turn up the central heating now .

Suitably miserable looking soldier, from a part of a campaign I am not familiar with at all.....

Plus, he could easily be converted into some other poor lost soul strggling through a chilly landscape.

Nicely animated, good sculpting does help the painter bring the figure to life!

Congrats to both

Cheers
