Superb figure and nice to see a good one of Wellington, however he had an aversion to wearing gloves. Also, Waterloo was fought in the middle of June, so only the cavalry would have worn gloves or gauntlets anyway.

18.06 the weather was bad, was a cold rain. Many soldiers were even in their cloaks. Besides senior officers wore gloves ALWAYS.
But most importantly - the rules of clothing. With respect to gloves, he never shared in the summer and winter. It deals specifically with thin white cotton gloves.
