Both figures are very neat. I'll be putting Caesar on my wish list.

For anyone who's curious, it looks to me like the Caesar sculpt is based on a sculpture by Nicolas Coustou (at the Louvre I think). Except for the helmet it's pretty close. You be the judge...

Caesar is a cracker.
Pose reminds me of Pegaso 90mm Consul from way back and all the more worthy for that.
Cheers
Derek

My thoughts exactly Derek!

Had I not already got the Pegaso 90mm Consul figure in the stash (and their 90mm mounted Caesar), this one would certainly have tempted me. Looks to be a cracking figure however and I'm sure it will be popular and a regular feature in shows.

Scale 75 is fast becoming my favorite manufacturer - their models just get better and better! Best Caesar I've seen and the executioner is awesome! (y)

Executioner needs his gums sorting out!!!

Seriously, I've yet to see a good set of teeth sculpted that resemble correct shapes and proportions.o_O

Otherwise, Caesar for me(y)

That is exactly why I really like the Caesar figure, I love the neoclasscal pose and would love to give it a faux finish and place it on an exceptionally nice base, it is art. Now on to the executioner, equally nice sculpt, but I like that one as a miniature and for the pure fun of it. As to it being morbid etc, it is and I will probably never own it (stash is just too damn big), but history is dark, and I think I have only been "turned off" of figure once due to subject matter and that was the Pegaso SS Artillery Officer with the German Shepard. Also, when I first saw it, all I cool think is "wow, that is cool!" and then I thought about the subject, still cool; and it lends itself pretty easily to a setting.

Great figures! I am always like "Scale 75" figures. All figures is very effective with strong energy and hight quality sculpt and painting.
But I have couple notice about sculpt. I can't see classical Caesar nose with little hump. And foot and seat of executioner is very scrawny with a fat trunk. Navel seems placed very hight. Men with big belly usually have navel situated in down.
