Tommy's War
Well-Known Member
I'm pleased to confirm the new releases from Tommy's War are now available.
Continuing the chronological order for release we've now reached The Marne in France where in 1914 the British and French stopped their retreat and held their ground.
Scale: 54mm (1/32 scale)
Sculptor: Nino Pizzichemi
Box art: Günther Sternberg
TW54007 - Lieutenant, Royal Engineers, The Marne 1914
TW54008 - Private, Army Service Corps, The Marne 1914
You will note that figure 54008 is a dispatch rider, to compliment these figures I do plan to release a highly detailed resin 54mm Douglas 1914 pattern motorcycle. There have been some production issues which have been ironed-out and I plan to release the motorcycle in March/April 2012.
A list of retail sellers for the range can be found at www.tommyswar.com. Our trade customers should start to receive their orders very soon.
These figures are the first in the Tommy's War range where there is a planned interaction between the two figures, I would be interested in feedback as to whether this is good, if you prefer the individual figures and , of course, all your comments which are always appreciated.
Regards
Darren
