I like everything about this piece, I think in this case the scallop worls and creates a sense of 'softness' in the surcoat. As to the balance of the sculpt I tend to view things on the diagonal an for me the balance runs through on a line from bottom left (helmet) into the space above the left shoulder. I'm liking it more and more.

There was no offence taken mate!
I've been a freelancer for twenty years, and know you can't appeal to everyone all the time, and I just know that when you drift away from the traditional it will alway create debate, and alienate some folks. But no offence at all was taken mate!

Hi Steve,

The chains were attached to the sword and knife/dagger, to avoid them being dropped and lost in combat.
