Hi to all!

This is the SBS of my last figure. It's the second figure for the new Warlord Saga line from Andrea Miniatures. It's made of Sculpey, epoxy Milliput and Duro, and the size is 70mm.

This is the original concept art by Ivan Gil

Joaquin, seeing your fantasy work before...I think this is going to be a stunner..
Looking forward to more of your photo's....please don't keep us waiting too long.. :)

All the best.......Roy.

Joacquin,

I always find it amazing how you sculptors can create a vision of the finished figure only with the slightest blobs of putty, and yes, as Roy already stated: this will be a great one (y) !

This is going to be beautiful piece, I will be following your step by step closely.

Hello Joaquin,

as I think of you as one of the best sculptors of this moment, I will be watching this one too. Thanks a lot for posting, and enjoy this one!

Joaquin, You've clearly established yourself as one of the most talented miniatures sculptors. Your ability to sculpt various subjects in differing scales is amazing. Keep up the great work.~Gary

Hear hear. I'm watching this closely. I know I'm going to learn something from it

Whoa! This is incredible. I notice with the intermediate step with Sculpey and also with the first Magicsculpt you're taking a lot of time building up the musculature. With the Sculpey it looked almost like you placed a muscle "bundle" one at a time, building up an arm, leg, whatever.

I'm curious - why did you change the head so much from the Sculpey version to the Magicsculpt version? I thought the Sculpey version looked very much like the drawing. Not that the MS version is bad - far, far from it! Holy Cow!

Proceed with the class, Joaquin, and add me to the role of pupils picking their chins up off the floor. :)

All the best,
Dan

Thanks Dan,
I think the Milliput version is less like the drawing because it isn't finished at this step yet.
Wait until you see the final version ;)

Hi Joaquin, great work. Are you replacing the sculpey with the milliput or sculpting the milliput over the sculpey?

Thanks,
Brad

Hi Brad,
I removed part of the Sculpey and then added Milliput over what was left.
