Thank you very much for the kind comments on my work, guys!:)
I really appreciate it!

Gerry:
I use a mixture of Brown Madder and English red from Winsor en Newton (30-70%)
Then my first highlight is lightly done with ocher, than Naples yellow, than Naples yellow added some white.
The darkest shadows are done with Brown Madder and a little bit of purple.
The cheeks are done added some burned sienna, an a little bit of red.
All carefully blend together.
Beside the nose I have added carefully some burned sienna.
All was done whet on whet. (The face was done in about one hour).

Nap:
The cords and flounders are NMM.

Thanks for looking and making the comments, guys
Cheers,
Eddy

I've tried your mix Eddy, all I can say is I need more practice, you make it sound so B****Y easy:rolleyes::LOL: A question! when do you do the eyes? at the same time?

Joking aside that is a stunning piece of work Eddy, great colours and a superbly painted face.

Following our conversation at Euro I hope things are going well for you and my best wishes for Xmas and the New Year..................Keith
