This is one for me. Only yesterday I was looking at how I might undertake a Metal Modeles conversion of a soldier of the Neufchatel battalion (MM only has the officer) by combining parts of two figures and possibly a spare head with the correct shako plate. No need to now. My reference was Allied Swiss Troops in French Service 1785-1815 from the Histoire and Collections series. Martin is correct, the aforementioned reference has the grenadier exactly as in the Chronos model, and no mention of a carabinier in the battalion.

Well done Chronos. Any chance of also producing a shako version as well?

Chris

At our figure of a gaiter (a red fringing and a brush) as at light infantry.
In the Russian literature this company of carabiniers.
