News from New Orleans Hobby Shop

A good friend and a supplier of alot of my paints and figure needs returned my email after I inquired about his well being durring and after the Hurricaine Katrina. Bill has Hometown Hobbies and Black-Knight Figures in Belle Chasse, Louisanna, south of New Orleans. Here is his posting to me.

UPDATE.....

DUE TO THE RECENT STORM, ALL OF OUR EMPLOYEES HAVE HAD TO EVACUATE. WE HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT WE 'SHOULD' BE ABLE TO RETURN BY THE END OF THE WEEK (09/11/05). WE HOPE THIS TURNS OUT TO BE THE CASE. ONCE WE ARE BACK UP AND RUNNING, WE'LL UPDATE THIS PORTION OF OUR SITE. PLEASE BE PATIENT - THANK YOU

Guy, I've ordered from them before I hope they're all well. I'm curious how many Pf members are from the affected areas? We have 40-50 people that have found there way here to my hometown in Western PA. A local hotel owner has offered to let them stay for free for a month or more by "donating" 18 rooms in one of his hotels. He also offered to add more free rooms based on donations from local businesses.~Gary
