Hi chaps,
I have tried to look for further information on entering the competition but can't really find anything on the website or facebook page.
Things that jump to mind are entry classes, presentation requirements, costs etc.
I would like to attend but being a novice for these events I would like ensure I have done the necessary preparation before driving all the way up there.
Thanks in advance
Melanie

Hi Melanie, as per your request, the competition details are on the club FB page,

Goodo O there'll be quite a gathering. I'll be stationed at the Aldershot table, will be nice as you say to put faces to names.

Cheers Simon

Hi Chaps,
One last question. If you are entering the competition do you need to be there before the doors open?
Thanks in advance
Melanie

No you can arrive anytime before competition entries close, generally before the doors open is for the club, traders and clubs with display tables to set up. That said it isn't a strictly enforced rule so if you are there early don't stand out in the cold.

Cheers Simon

See you all there don't forget to bring plenty of money for the tombola and anything you would like to donate for prizes I'll be propping it up as usual

Dave

As days go it wasn't a bad one, great show and England didn't lose to Italy, but only just. Looking at the score I'm not sure I want to watch the recording!

Anyway North Surrey show, been going to this one for many years and it's always a good one and I always walk away with a load of stuff from the tombola I don't want, cheers Dave!

There were plenty of clubs in attendance and a good selection of traders including Elan 13 with Planeteer Rob Lane. It was also nice to.meet other Planeteers, Kev Jarret, Frog,MalcC, NigelR and Melanie Clubcat. As well as other modellers I've known for years.

A small selection of competition classes but most very well subscribed with some Planeteers being awarded various levels, if I was organised I'd have a list but I'm not so I don't.

Nap asked for photos, so I post them in a mo, the only one I missed was Malc eating Naps bacon butty, but I did witness the event.

It was great to meet Simon, Melanie and other PFer's as well as friends.
I have to add it was great to see Simon's work up close, the photos of his work on here don't do them justice, they're amazing and
painted to a high standard.

I have a couple of photos to add, which I'll add later.

Malc

I want to thank the organisers for all their hard work in putting together a great little show. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it was nice to meet fellow pfers (although it took a bit of hard work to track Simon down, having trimmed his beard! I actually approached a completely wrong person at one stage leaving me with a very red face!).

Sorry Nigel for changing my appearance but to be fair my avatar picture isn't exactly my good side! The beard is growing back to its full glory though, my celtic ginger face fungus.

Kev no I didn't eat Malcs butty, I was having one as well, bacon is the main reason I could never be a vegetarian.

Thank you Malc for your comments on my figures they're not too bad, going pop them up to 1/32nd to give me a bit more room to work in.

Cheers Simon
