Was not here for a couple of months, a little bit of private stress kept me away from the hobby... Now, that everything is on track again, I can sculpt again what I like most, Monsters! So here is one of my latest beginnings:

This figure is a bit different! I found a pic in an add at the last page of the last Historical Miniature and "fell in love" with this Beast. Thought, this must be modelled at any case. So I began. But I noticed, hey, this sculptor must be one of the greatest artists of all time, what he put in 28mm is so outstanding... I thought. Yep, than I found out, that the figurekit is a really big one (do not know the scale, but it is around 25cm, ca. 10 inch... ahem,...) Mine is around 2 inch high, so... But I am very pleased with this thing! The back has to be added, a weapon and the head. Thats it.

There is really something to do, and I have no idea for a Base already, but I love to sculpt that rotten skin with all its details! Hope, ths skull will com out as I hope...

really nice, frank! i can really smell the pus oozing out of the wounds! i always loved those nurgle guys!

but, for the rest of the forum, it would be quite helpful, i think, if you explained what exactly nurgle is. i mean, not everyone can know about the chaos gods, right?
anyways, i like it, can't weit to see it finished!

Thanks for your comment! But I am a bit ashamed, ´cause I do not know too much about the figures background. Found this in a Mag and fell in Love with the design so I thought to sculpt it myself.

Alle I know is, that the Nurgles are the Gods of Decay and Pestilence and so they look not too good... And this is the most interesting part of sculpting these figures: You can go crazy with the skin and a lot of wounds and, well, rotten flesh!

Hey Darkeye, cool, Dude! Yep, was a bit Unrest in my life the last months, but now everything is fine and I am already sculpting the hell out of me. Stay tuned for a bit more stuff!

Yeah, Dude, the head... To my luck I ran out of Magic Sculpt so the head is put on a rest... But you will laugh, but those pickles and skin wrinkles weren´t as time consuming as one might think; they went on relative quick.
