Dang fine job Tony, once again, and sorry for my tardiness. I understand the need for a diversion from time to time and a great diversion it be, the HS technique. I've got a box load of half built kits from a model club and plan to refine my skills on them, soon.

Excellent figure Amigo, always a pleasure to see your work.

Cheers, Ski.

Hi Ski,

Good to hear from you buddy. Hope everything's going well for you.

Like most modellers, I occasionally need a change of subject to refresh my mojo, and for me there's nothing better than a small tank to distract me from figures and busts. I've loved the new weathering techniques introduced recently by Mig Jiminez and others, and I thought it was time to dip my toe into the pool and give it a try.

It's also good practice for me in case I decide to use the hairspray technique on a figure or bust in the future.

Thanks again for your comments.

Hi Geoff and Gells, thank you gentlemen. I hope you get something out of understanding some of the techniques I use. I never paint a bust or figure the same way twice, as I believe it's always best to experiment and try new things. Sometimes it works and sometimes it's an epic fail. Most of the time it works OK, and sometimes I learn things from my failures. I appreciate your comments.

I think you've done an excellent job on him, the fantastic sculpt will take you so far but your painting has really brought him to life.
Thanks,
Scotty.
