This is a truly great class in how to paint light and shadow.
I know how you feel with a drop in your motivation and it is difficult to get back in the groove.
This is a very lonely hobby but I feel that there are several ways I see that the Guys avoid this isolation; join a club, go to painting days (you may no get too much painting done but some of the chat is both entertaining and informative), go to figure shows where other Like minded people interact.
For me, in the depth of a forest somewhere in France, these opportunities are not a regular event but this forum has given me some very good mates that I have never met and maybe never will. I find that they can get things moving again for me.
So get this super figure finished a get in touch with some of the great NZ sculptors and painters. They are a good bunch.
