The groundwork consists of a layer of Miliput, followed by a mixture of PVA glue Burnt Umber acrylic paint and model railway gravel. Once dry I have it a dry brush with two or three lighter acrylic earthtones.
Wait for that to dry and then a coat of PVA followed by the secret ingredient....

Very nice figure, Roger. But where is his left hand?

Thank you Ulrich. His left hand is partially obscured by the tail of his coat. You can see the back of the hand but the fingers are hidden from view.
