Well, I am in the process of moving out of the house but not a definite date yet, so I am with most of my miniatures and spare parts packed already, just the Mousquetaire and garde francaise are still on my workbench, so, not really motivated until we get a new place .
Anyhow, looking forward to see more of this fig Roger, you seem to look at white like a great challenge but all you have done is quite awesome, so keep up my friend. will follow with interest

Lol, you are full speed ahead Roger, I like that and thank you for the motivation!.

Work on the flag.
The violet areas were painted with Dioxazine Purple, shaded with Indian Red added to the base, + White for highlights.
Yellow areas with Naples Yellow + Burnt Sienna for the shadow and + White for highlights.
White same mix as the coat.

When it's dry I'll go over the highs and shadows again to add further depth.

Thanks Daniel, I think the violet was a lucky guess, as for the yellow colour according to http://www.kronoskaf.com/syw/index.php?title=Main_Page
"Each canton was traversed by an isabelle (coffee) horizontal band."
I know it doesn't look coffee coloured but all the illustrations I've seen show it a kind of yellow colour.

Update report...

A few details to add such as the sword hilt, pistols, buttons and bits and bobs but the majority of work is done.
