Nearing completion and just the sword and gloved hand to do. For the gold lace detail, I used dark star 'Gold Braid' and used a dark brown to shade the braids. For the highlights, a tiny amount of silver was added to the 'Gold braid'.

Looking great Bob. How did you find the Darkstar metallics? I’ve seen some others using them who are very complimentary and I’ve taken the plunge and bought some but not had chance to use them yet.

Neal.

Fabulous work Bob.....(y).....great figure......Mike

Neal,
I find the metalics by darkstar have a finer pigment and are easy to work with and I believe they do a thinner for the paint. I like these above others I have tried.

Scott, many thanks

Mike, your comment is greatly appreciated, Thank you.

It's coming along very nicely Bob. (y) You are certainly up to the challenge!

"Running out of red paint" ;) Knowing you, I can't decide if this is a humorous comment or not.

Cheers,
Ken

Thank you Ken, a bit tongue in cheek but will have to get some more reds soon, although my next two in the line up are White and then Khaki.
