Many thanks Richie, I have a few of the pics but 3 of them with be extremely useful, I'm pleased I was correct with the Cartouche colours, and I can now start painting the helmet band.

This has come out really well ,love the epaulettes , helmet turban ...nice lines there .....

the medal ...very nice ...but.......you missed a letter out on the bar ......LOL

Thanks Nap, I certainly hope to be at Bugle with all my latest busts, it's just as long as I have no more health problems.

Sorry mate that's a great ref but I was looking at the officer sat on ground cross legged at the front middle...he has a "undress" cap on .....I presume the top is the uniform colour ( beige/Kharki) with perhaps a design on top ,the lower part would I think be the regimental lace pattern ?

My plan is to remove the helmet and use on base and put the other cap on him

Nap - the forage cap looks like an unofficial version - I cant find any reference to one being issued, but maybe either a private purchase or locally sourced(y)
