Diego Fortes emailed me the photos of his latest creation for Art Girona.

Hola Guy.
These are some photos of one of the latest figures that I have made for Art Girona.
He is an officer of one of the Wellington´s regiments in the Peninsular War, showing a style of dress that become popular with some officers in that years.
Best regards

Diego Fernández Fortes

I will order this one when it comes out. I am looking forward to seeing the box art painted up. Who will do the box art?

Keith

Very nice. I recognize it from one of the plates in Wellington's Peninsula armies book from Osprey. It's a natural for a miniature.~Gary

I like this one. The clothing looks natural, and the pose against the wall is a comfortable position for the guy to be in. Took me a while to spot the cigar - I wondered why his hand and face were posed like that!

This has got to be one of the best Napoleonics to hit the market. I will certainly be buynig this one, it has lots of character and color just what I look for in a figure.

Hello everybody.
Thank you for your comments.
I will paint the first copy for the box art. I´m willing to do it.
Yes, it is based on one of the wonderful plates by Mike Chappell about the Irish regiments of Wellington. As a matter of fact, I bought the Osprey´s book after seeing the pictures that are very inspiring.
This will be released by Art Girona next month.
