Awesome. Best way to get tips and feedback though by posting in places and asking. This forum is another place like that too.

With all due respects Rob,....Why don't you just make a move and start painting something,....anything....with whatever you've got, on whatever you have. That way you will know what questions to ask. Nothing is "dead" until we are. Until then; you will always hear opinions, and like what has already been said ....."use what works best for you"...……..Don't just sit there; Slap some paint on something.

I think I know which Rob you are now.

Don't worry so much about what others are doing. Like others have said here, have a go with what you have and then ask for some pointers.

There's an old line from the Tao of Pooh (stay with me here) "I think therefore I am confused". Too much thinking and procrastination can just tie you in knots. Asking 40 people something might give you 40 different answers and views. Just five in and have a go.

If you're thinking of stripping it if you don't like the result then maybe try something metal. It's easier to strip.

Hi Wayneb and Gary d you guys are right when i get back to it my plan is to use a cheap bust i have to play around with . Ill use this to try and paint with acrylics and oil paints even though the oil paint i have are made by grumbacher and Winton . I have to get over my fear of mixing paint LOL
