Brilliant work Ron,it just goes to show these verlinden figures can still hold their own on the figure front,as I said before the leather looks great as does the whole figure,i especially like the groundwork,id like to know your technique you used to create the ground (y)

Hi Brian
Re groundwork : it is a foundation of Magic sculpt left to harden then I go over it with Mig products ( European Dry mud fine texture creating little variations in the heights here and there, also use the wet mud rough texture sometimes but not on this one , but on the new project :)
All in all great stuff and dries fairly fast too and takes paint well .

Cheers for the comments Brian.

Hi Ron,are the Mig products Powder?

No they are a paste ,I work them with a small spatula £4.60 a tub in Glasgow shop but at Ipms show there was a trader selling them at £6.00
You get a fair bit in the tub and it is resealable . you don't use much as it is only the top coat of the ground work and you can add stones and things in as it sets brick hard .

Which shop in Glasgow Ron? I'm up visiting family in Paisley for the next week so might check it out.

Cheers,
Billy :)
