On the Great Plains, Lakota Sioux Family, 1874 - 1/35 Master Box Plastic Kit

This one took a little longer than normal for me. It's a great kit but I decided to take it a step further and added numerous leather belts/straps made from black electric tape, ropes and cords from various diameter wires and Historex buckles.

I added earrings to the wife and replaced the husband's belt buckle with a Historex one. I also made some very minor sculpting additions using epoxy putty. Finally, I made a slightly larger base to artistically represent the wide open spaces on the Great Plains.

The plastic kits can be challenging, but they are fun to enhance. It's a great medium to work in a far as making changes. Also, if I really screw it up, there's a lot less financial pain.
