Excellent modelling all around.

Oda.

P.S: Masterbox and ICM are leading the market of excellent 1/35 figures in plastic as independent modelling subjects rather than as mere companions for armored vehicles.I just can't wait for the moment they are going to take the next logical step and start producing more diverse subjects.Just imagine,a box containing enough figures for a Vking raiding party, all in high quality plastic (almost as good as resin) and only for a fraction of the cost of what one would pay for a single 54mm figure.

Thanks Oda! I agree it would be great to see some more diverse subjects in other time periods. While I think the figures need some additional "enhancing" compared to their resin and metal counterparts, (plastic is obviously a great medium for this) the idea of instant small vignettes and conversion possibilities for a relatively inexpensive cost is very appealing. :)

Hi Ken

As others have, said; excellent work. You really have managed to ensure the colour of the rocks and base in general compliment the skin tones, producing a very harmonious scene.

Nice use of real stones, as an aside, I have found that ordinary house coal can be used to represent rocks (washed of course!!), often coal has a loverly, defined grain.

Remarkably well done. Congratulations on a masterpiece.
Rick

Thanks guys! Much appreciated.

Good idea on the coal Peter. Whenever I'm out and about I'm always looking for something that I can use in the hobby. My wife usually just gives me THE look??? :);)

Cheers,
Ken
