Hey Guys!

Worked some more on the head. I have now decided that he will be a Russian Soldier from WWII, and will be wearing a Ushanka (the fur hat) and will be sporting a padded winter coat.

Let me know what you think of it so far :)

Anders, well done (y) (y) (y) that's a great improvement, I think the forehead could slope back a little and the top part of the head is a bit too large but that will be covered by the headgear anyway, so does'nt really matter.

Much better, amigo. But how about making the jaw a bit more square. Hey, he's a soldier, right? Not some kid ready for his junior prom :) :) :) It's kind of taking on the appearance of Rutger Hauer. Lots of possibilities there ;)

Hey Guys!

Thanks for the comments,

Leigh,

I did have a greater slope on the skull before, but feels like he looked like a dino or something, see the picture I attached, its the head before I added to the forhead. I personally like it a whole lot more now then before. Maybe he still should have a tad more slope though, I really don't know.

Pete,

I did find the CD's amigo! Let me know what d/l's I need. As for the jaw, I think he is not quite as 'unsquare' in person, althouh he probably could use a little more squareness. Not sure how to do that though, but I think Im going to flatten out the chin just a hair, maybe that will help too.

Again, thanks for your suggesionts :)

Hey Guys!

Hope Im not bothering you guys with updates

Here is the face after I primed it, I added some strips around the mouth, I know there is a word for them, but I dont know it :) Anyways, this helps to show flaws better!

I think I have spent a lot more time polishing the face then acctually sculpting it

Anders, you are without a doubt the most tenacious modeler and show tremendous growth in skill and perseverence. Keep going man, it's all good and will only keep getting better!

Tenacious means that if someone were to try and steal your wallet they would have a hard time prying it from your cold, dead hands. ;)

Hi Anders I agree with the comments of the rest of the gang;you are indeed tenacious in your approach to your modelling Keep up the excellent work and keep posting more updates ! (I don't know about the others, but I'm not bored yet )By the way,the word that you were looking for to describe the "strips" around the mouth area is "jowls".Cheers !
