RP continues its 3D production. We are finishing the production of our first 3D kit, which was the gator, but the modeling continues... I would like to share with you a modeling that is finishing on the Nimrod operation. This work is not for RPmodels, it is for a BIG FRIEND. You will have the opportunity to purchase this model with his brand... This model will be finished in a few days... I share the concept with you and I hope you like it as much as I do...

Thank you so much.
With best regards

I like the concept and subject, just wondering if the guys "on repel" really repelled down to the same windows being breached by guys already on the balcony? I know one guy got hung up and had to be helped down, but operationally it seems a bit odd. Anyhow, I like it! Hopefully 75mm or larger.

Yes the curtains were set ablaze by the flash bangs and this operator was lucky that they finally cut him off. The single guy rapalling in the dio doesn't make too much sense but he can be used in another single figure vignette when you build him another wall and window. Anyway it is possible to make an entry simultanously from below and above a window. In this case you usually have minimum two operators entering from above. Cheers Martin

I seem to remember some operators hopping across from an adjacent balcony and one or more others rappelling down onto the same balcony. I had a quick look for the archive footage on YouTube to jog my memory but what I watched had camera-shake, smoke etc. so it wasn't entirely clear. There's a lot more full documentaries etc. on YouTube that might show it more clearly but I didn't have the time (or patience) to sift through it all.

Great idea Hugo and continuing to push the boundaries to provide quality and innovative pieces. Love it.

I'm surprised this subject was never tackled before by anyone but now Hugo and Nuno are doing it, it will certainly be the best version one can expect.
Fabulous work and concept.

Back in the day Verlinden did three 120mm figs that were fairly decent of the Op Nimrod guys.

And, more recent, Mitches did a great figure, too; trooper on the roof with gasmask up. All options, but I'm looking forward to seeing this once done. Hugo, any idea on time frame, please? I know it needs to go to a big friend first.

A lot of the moulded detail may need to be removed as basic smocks used in the 80’s ;

Hopefully the frame charge can also be removed as not used on the frontal assault
