Joking aside, it's another Goodie full of character.

Is it a coincidence that your figure and Joe's have the same clothing (down to the coloring) or did you both start from the same reference?

Mike this is an extremely well sculpted figure, truly a beautiful piece.
I do hope it finds a home very soon, would love to buy the kit.

Maybe the man is the DOG'S monkey? ;)

I cannot say for sure, but i suspect that Joe's figure was inspired by the same illustration in an excellent book titled: "Tailor Made and Trail Worn". It was on the strength of this single illustration that i bought this (not cheap!) book. I then found myself sculpting the figure not long afterwords.

It was not a subject that I had much previous interest in. It was simply an inspiring illustration. That's how things happen sometimes.
