Hi
I have not hang any work around here, do it again with this magnificent bust modeled by Jeremy Wong for 51-Studio and I have had the pleasure to paint the box-art.

I hope you like it !!

Always beautiful brushwork Juanma (y)!

Too bad (to me anyway), his tank assault badge was not sculpted in. Nonetheless, an excellent likeness of the man and I'd like to have me one (y)!

Dear Vaux, this is a very well painted figure, but the historical background is not correct. Otto Carrius Gaines the Knights Cross on May 4th 1944, when he allready was promoted 2nd Lieutenant. So the epauletts with the rank insignia are wrong.

If friend, I am aware of those mistakes, but the production was already underway and could not be solved.

Thanks for the comments !!

I've a signed copy of Carius' autobiography and Grenadier is correct. I wonder why it wouldn't be possible to get the assault badge and replacement shoulder straps made up to make this fine figure? Would it be too expensive making the venture not profitable?

Secondly what palette did you use to complete the black? It looks marvellous.

Cheers
