painting a cape

I need some help Guys,

Gonna starting within a couple off days Mike French Grenadier a Cheval Trumpeteer.
It was difficult to find colorplate's off this uniform, but finally got it.
The only thing that i cannot find is the colour of the cape who is hanging on his back.
Iff someone couldt help with this ??

Dear Marc, I have the book, Napoleon's Elite Cavalry at home, with plates from the respected artist/historian Lucien Rousselot, if you ever heard of him. I looked them up, and according to him the capes/cloaks were a very pale blue, like a sky blue colour. I've also seen figures painted this way as well. Hope this helps. From these paintings it also appears that their tunics were also sky blue as well, even when on campaign.

Yes both the uniform and the cape are sky blue

I shell painted the cape in skyblue. And i wish i can find some Lucien Rousselot pictures someday.
