Janne,
I've done this figure myself and it is a great challenge.
Now, about the frostbite.
Frostbite is a condition in which body tissues freeze -- ice crystals actually form in the cells of the affected part of the body. If the crystals are large enough, they will burst and kill the cells; therefore, frostbite actually causes damage to skin and soft tissues. The degree of damage is similar to that of burns: first-degree frostbite may cause little more than tingling, a burning feeling, and redness, while second-degree frostbite produces blisters and third-degree (deep) frostbite will damage the soft tissue under the skin. Since it takes time for the freezing to do its damage, frostbite may turn out to be more severe than it seemed at first.
Frostbite occurs most often in parts far from the core -- like fingers, toes, hands, feet, and the tip of your nose.
There it is: red trough dark blue with first till second degree. White and black till third degree.
Hope this helps.

Not to worry, they're automatically truncated in this forum software.

Doing a link like this: click me! is very easy in vBulletin. Just copy the URL from the link or the address bar, click on the small symbol of a globe with an infinity symbol below it, in that strip of buttons above the message window where you type in your post. After you've pasted in the link the name/wording area is highlighted, just type in and then click outside the links to complete.

Alternatively, type the link name and then select the words, click the same symbol and paste the URL, it'll automatically make those words the link.

Thanks for chipping in.

Two more questions surfaces though about the uniform. The bearskin hat has some round disc at the top with some insignia what material and colour are these made of? Also the boys left leg, is it bandaged or is some kind of leggning? Ive always thought it to be a legging but a bandage makes more sence, doesnt it? But again he has some tarps for gloves as well?

On the boxart there is a white lining on the Grenadiers coat, is that correct, I have not find any support for this among my Osprey titles?

Do you mean it on the side of the bearskin cap? I thought actually we were talking about the piece on the top of the bearskin cap?

I thought youre first picture was portraying that but now I realize it must have been the base for the plyme on the side? Is that soo?

Cheers

That's alot of confusion Janne. I was indeed talking about the cocard at the side of the bearskin. Therefore i was jokin about the eagle. Now, the sky is all clear and hope to help you further.
The piece on top of the bearskin is very different from the cocarde.
The disk is red, and the grenade is silver color.
Hope this helpe's you alot.
