Hola Guys!

After not touching a paint brush in over 2-3-4? months I decided it was time to paint something as I wont be able to paint or sculpt for the comming 4 months.

This conversion of Andreas WWI bust was made with Apoxie Sculpt over the resin bust. Here is a shot of the conversion:

Here is the face more or less finished, painted with Vallejos. I tried some new things with this one, mainly some tone changes with Cavalry Brown around nose and eyes. Would love to know what you think!

Hi Anders

Very nicely painted face, realy good flesh tones.... cant wait to see this one finished

Thanks for all the replies guy!

I am fairly happy with it so far, I think it still needs some blending here and there, but after the surroundings are all painted I figure it will work out all right.

I made the mistake of buying Mike Good's 1/12th scale SS Officer bust by Jaguar today, so I think I will work on it as well as it is such a gorgeous bust!

Guy,

I basically took all the detail off the original bust and sculpted a great coat over the uniform. The bust has such a great face and I thought the rest of the bust was kind of boring so I decided to try to make something different with it, I just couldnt waste such a beautifully sculpted face!

Thanks again guys!

PS. I am over at Dave and Bill's house, and I forgot to log in under my name, but its me Anders!

Extremely nice Anders - only thing is the sculpting of the face makes it look like he's got that Godfather "cotton in the mouth" look to him!

Hey Anders!

Nice job man! And congrats on the movie thing. Your flesh tones and eyes look very good as usual. Cant wait to see this one finished.

Still deciding whether to head over to Tulsa again. It will probably be a last minute decision. Probably wont make it to the Expo, too close to the holidays.

later
