But what a crappy horse Mike. I would have to scratch one. Not yet.
Kumik (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=1/6+kumik+horse) and Breyer (https://www.breyerhorses.com/gg_valentine_heartbreaker) both do 1/6 horses, although Breyer's range of 1/9 horses is much bigger. You'd just have to strip the paint off and add you own saddlery.

Hi Colin,
I've really enjoyed following your work on this bust.
But one thing I've noticed is that he appears to have to many teeth showing (In close up) Ì suspect it may be just the way you sculpted them. Given I wish I had half your talent please don't take offense .
Chris
The teeth look alright to me: a healthy young mouth should have 32 teeth. Each quadrant will have two incisors, one canine, two premolars and three molars (http://www.identalhub.com/article_human-dentition-233.aspx).
Superb sculpting and painting.

Unless he is Canadian and plays hockey

Awesome work Colin.......
Forgot to add the detail at the back of the barrel Sash looks really nice as well
What final wash are you putting over the NMM ?
" hose him down" ..be careful
Thanks for sharing

You make it sound so easy, I have more paint on my brush than on the figure. Thanks all.
Kevin....The final wash over the dulled NMM lace will be gold ink or paint intended to leave some tiny metallic flecks after drying, still allowing the NMM to show through. In the past, I have sometimes applied this too strongly, obscuring the underlying paint. The key is to keep it very diluted.

I have heard tooth fairies were forced out of business in Canada, they just don't have the resources
